Bedarra Island Resort sits within the iconic and stunningly picturesque Great Barrier Reef. Comprising just ten unique and private villas each hidden amongst a luscious tropical rainforest, Bedarra Island Resort offers solitude and privacy for an adults only all inclusive island escape.

Enjoy a peaceful candlelit dinner on your private deck, or escape with a chef prepared gourmet packed hamper in your own dinghy for a romantic picnic on a deserted island. Grab a book, or close your eyes and simply enjoy the surrounding sounds of the ocean swaying in your hammock.

Plenty of activities are available and included in your stay with kayaks, stand up paddleboards, snorkelling equipment, fishing, tennis, gym and self-guided walking trails. Additional options can be arranged with diving, deep sea fishing and massage available.

Transfer Options

Travel to Bedarra Island Resort by launch or helicopter from Mission Beach, or helicopter directly from Cairns airport. Mission Beach is approximately 2 hours drive south of Cairns and can be reached by either self-drive rental car or limousine service.

Wow! Bederra was amazing!

Service was out of this world, food a la cart every meal, abundance of drinks, super relaxed and happy staff, accommodated our every need, island stunning, views spectacular. The Villa was perfect, we were a little nervous with no aircon, but you didn’t need it, despite the heat and humidity, we slept with a duvet every night as the design of the villa allowed sea breeze day and night. Defiantly worth taking Villa with plunge pool to privately cool off in middle of the day. Loved using the motor boats when there, exploring all the surrounding islands with the best thought through picnic prepared by the kitchen and fishing supplies, kayaks were fun and spotted turtles. Helicopter transfer is a must, the views and wildlife we saw will be in our memories forever! Words can not describe the service or experience we had, looking forward to going back! We never had to lift a finger!
