Absolutely Gorgeous surroundings & facilities and the staff was top notch. We stayed in one of the Sapphire tier overwater bungalows that faces away from Mt. Otemanu to save a little $ over the Diamond tier and new 2 level Brando bungalows which do face the mountain. Whichever accommodation you choose, you'll be happy. The bungalows must be seen and experienced, and yeah, you'll be happy. The food was great too, and for the last morning there, we had arranged to get our breakfast delivered to us by outrigger canoe direct to our bungalow. That was a unique experience which saved time in getting ready to checkout that morning, although leaving was not something we wanted to do. There are many activities, and we took advantage of jet ski rides and paddle boarding. Lots of other things can be arranged such as lagoon tours,( which include snorkeling), jeep tours, boat rides into town for sightseeing, dining, etc. The resort has an excellent black pearl shop for buying black pearl jewelry, or you can do that in town.Overall, the InterContinental Bora Bora Thalasso resort was an exceptional experience. Also, the Thalasso spa is Outstanding!
