Yet another amazing Castaway Island holiday!

We had another amazing Castaway Island experience. The friends that went with us all want to go back again as do we!! The way the Fijians engage with teenagers is something to really be valued. A lot of people think teenagers need things to keep them occupied but for ours all they wanted was to get to Castaway and relax. There is so much pressure on kids these days I think everyone forgets that they also want to just do nothing. That being said there is plenty for them to do if they want, our kids engaged in kayaking, snorkelling, banana boat and some jet skied. But once again their favourite part of the holiday was the people. They had such a special connection with Kat which surprised me, last holiday they formed a great relationship with her but this time it continued and they spoke of some really informative things that relate to teenagers. Let’s just say if we couldn’t find the kids they’d be having mocktails with Kat  Once again many tears as we left our Castaway Island family, but our souls feel topped up again which is why we keep returning. Many people ask me why go to Fiji when we live in the tropics and my answer is “because we have to go, there is no place like it and there are no words to describe the amazing Fjiian people” Vinaka Deb, Tracey
